This beautiful hobby horse is handmade by Gene Davidson. Gene, who is president of WoodMatic of Holland, MI, has made more than 500 of these horses, all of which have been sold to raise funds for worthy causes. These horses have found interesting homes, including the Michigan Governor's Mansion.

The present horse is called Black Beauty, and has the markings of that famous animal. It is made of fine hardwoods, and has a perfect lacquer finish, a hand-made mane, and many other fine touches.
